Dates laddu

Ingredients

  1. Fresh dates - 250gm. (pitted / seed removed)
  2. Grated and dried coconut - 100gm.
  3. Ghee - 25ml.
  4. Roasted cashewnut - 100gm
  5. Roasted sliced almond-50gm.
  6. Rice powder - 50gm.
Method of making
  1. Cut the dates into small squares 1cm x 1cm (appx).
  2. Take a non stick pan and place it over a burner, pour the ghee when the pan is slightly hot. After 60seconds put the grated coconut, roasted nut etc to the pan and saute slightly.After 5minutes in low flame, transfer the cut dates to the pan and saute well for another 5minutes. Now transfer the rice powder to the pan and mix well in low flame for another two minutes. Then switch off the burner and transfer the mix to a mixing bowl and let it cool for 10 minutes. Now knead the mix well and make small small balls to the size of a laddu.Put the laddu in cups (use the cup cakes paper mould) and keep in a tray. Keep this laddu in refrigerator and have it. Can keep in refrigerator for more than a week freshly.
