Lemon Rice
Ingredients:

  1. Basmati Rice / White Rice
  2. Lemon Juice
  3. Green Chillies
  4. Ginger
  5. Coriander Leaves
  6. Oil
  7. Mustard
  8. Turmeric
  9. Channa Dal
  10. Urad Dal
  11. Peanuts
  12. Crushed Red Chilli
  13. Cumin
  14. Curry Leaf
  15. Hing

Ingredients:
  • 2 cups Gram Flour (besan)
  • 3 tablespoons semolina flour (fine sooji)
  • 1 1/2 cup Sugar (grinded)
  • 1 cup Ghee
  • 1 tsp Cardamom powder
  • 1 tsp Almonds (chopped)
  • 1 tsp Pistachios (chopped)
  • 1 tsp Cashew Nuts (chopped)
  • 1 tsp raisins
Preparation

  • Fry Almonds, Pistachios, Cashews and Raisins in Ghee and keep aside.
  • Roast Sooji and keep aside
  • Roast Besan and keep aside
  • Grind sugar into fine powder. While grinding sugar add half a tsp of cardamom powder, it will give a nice flavour to the sugar.

Method
  • Put Ghee in a vessel and melt it
  • Add besan flour and sooji to this
  • Add the powdered sugar
  • Mix everything and finally add Cardamom powder, Almonds, Pistachios, Cashews and Raisins
  • Allow it to cool for 10 minutes and start making balls out of it.
