Bechamel Sauce

Béchamel Sauce is the basic White Sauce

Ingredients
  1. 2 tablespoons butter. (Same qty butter and flour)
  2. 2 tablespoons flour.
  3. 1 1/4 cups milk, heated.
  4. Salt.
  5. Freshly ground pepper and nutmeg powder (optional)
  6. Bay Leaves
  7. Onion
  8. Cloves

Cook Butter and Flour
      Add milk slowly
        Onion, cloves, bay leaves for flouring
          Bechamel Sauce can be used to thicken soups
