Unnakkaya

Ingredients

Banana - 6 nos
Raisins - 3 Tbsp
Cashews - 3 Tbsp
Egg - 2 nos
Grated Coconut - 1 Cup
Sugar - 1/2 Cup
Cardamon - 6nos
Ghee - 1 tsp
Oil - for frying

Method
  1. Boil the bananas. Allow it to cool. Remove the seeds and then mash it nicely. Dont use mixie for it.
  2. Make small balls of this mashed banana.
  3. For the filling mix two eggs, sugar and some cardamon powder
  4. Heat tawa and put Ghee. Add cashewnuts, raisins. and the egg mix and cook nicely. Allow it to cool.
  5. Apply some ghee in our palm and flatten the banana ball, make it a circle and add the fillings to it. 
  6. Cover from the sides and make it an oval shape with pointed edges.
  7. Heat a  kadai, Add coconut oil and fry it until it turns golden brown color
Unnakkaya is also called Kayada
