Banana | - | 6 nos |
Raisins | - | 3 Tbsp |
Cashews | - | 3 Tbsp |
Egg | - | 2 nos |
Grated Coconut | - | 1 Cup |
Sugar | - | 1/2 Cup |
Cardamon | - | 6nos |
Ghee | - | 1 tsp |
Oil | - | for frying |
Method
- Boil the bananas. Allow it to cool. Remove the seeds and then mash it nicely. Dont use mixie for it.
- Make small balls of this mashed banana.
- For the filling mix two eggs, sugar and some cardamon powder
- Heat tawa and put Ghee. Add cashewnuts, raisins. and the egg mix and cook nicely. Allow it to cool.
- Apply some ghee in our palm and flatten the banana ball, make it a circle and add the fillings to it.
- Cover from the sides and make it an oval shape with pointed edges.
- Heat a kadai, Add coconut oil and fry it until it turns golden brown color
Unnakkaya is also called Kayada
